Privacy notice

Last updated 18 August 2026. This notice explains how Catalogvectorgrid handles personal data under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Data controller

The controller is Catalogvectorgrid, 7 Guildford Rd; East Looe; PL13 6BA; United Kingdom. Email: info@catalogvectorgrid.digital. Telephone: 077 8517 1529. For supervisory complaints in the UK, you may contact the Information Commissioner’s Office. We would rather hear from you first.

What we collect and why

When you use the contact or course enquiry form we receive the name, email, optional topic, and message you type. We use that correspondence to reply, to decide whether a programme is a fit, and to keep a short record of what was asked. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a teaching studio, or pre-contract steps if you are asking to enrol.

If you enrol, we additionally keep billing details, attendance notes, and the work you submit for marking. The basis is contract. We do not sell lists. We do not use your product’s user-level data as our teaching fuel unless you bring a sample you are entitled to share.

Server logs may include IP address and user agent for security and diagnosis. That processing is our legitimate interest in keeping the site usable.

Cookies and similar

The consent cookie and any optional measurement cookies are described on the cookies page. Rejecting optional cookies does not block reading, forms, or enrolment correspondence.

Retention

Unanswered marketing-style mail that does not become a student record is kept for up to 18 months, then deleted unless we must keep it for a dispute. Enrolled student records, invoices, and marking notes are kept for six years after the last session to meet UK accounting and limitation practice. Course work you asked us to destroy after marking will be removed from teaching stores within 30 days, except where a legal hold applies.

The cookie that stores Accept or Reject remains until you clear storage or until twelve months have passed, after which the banner may appear again.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, or objection, and you may ask for portability of data you provided, in the terms UK GDPR allows. You may withdraw consent where we relied on consent (for example optional analytics cookies) without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Write to info@catalogvectorgrid.digital. We may need to confirm identity before we act.

International transfers

We correspond from the United Kingdom. Some email or hosting processors may store copies in the European Economic Area or in another country. Where a transfer goes beyond UK adequacy, we use a lawful mechanism such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or addendum, or another safeguard recognised by UK law. We will not send your course work to a processor that cannot meet that standard.

Processors

We use hosting, email, and (if you accept them) analytics processors acting on our instructions. We do not permit them to use studio correspondence for their own advertising.

Children

Programmes are aimed at working product people. We do not knowingly collect data from children about App Analytics coursework. If you believe we have, write and we will delete it.

Changes

We will update this notice when our processing changes. The date at the top is the current version.
