Refund policy

Last updated 18 August 2026. This policy applies to paid Catalogvectorgrid teaching once an invoice has been settled. It sits alongside your statutory rights in the United Kingdom.

Eligibility

Refunds are available to the person or company named on the invoice. If an employer paid, the employer must request the refund. Seats are not transferable as a way to avoid this policy; a named substitution before week one may be agreed in writing instead.

Timeframe and cooling-off

If you bought at a distance as a consumer, you may cancel within 14 days of the contract confirmation, unless you asked us to start teaching during that period and acknowledged that you would lose the cooling-off right once the first live session (or first Signal Pass download) began. After teaching has started, the rules below for full, partial, or no refund apply.

Full refund

A full refund is given if we cancel a cohort, if we cannot offer a reasonable alternative date, or if a consumer cancels within the cooling-off window before teaching starts. A full refund is also given if we made a material misdescription of the syllabus (for example, advertising live critique and then offering only recordings) and we cannot remedy it.

Partial refund

If you withdraw after week one of the Product Signal Atelier but before week four, we refund 50% of the Atelier Seat fee, less any card or transfer costs we cannot recover. After week four, the seat is considered substantially delivered because the catalogue and funnel work — the core of the teaching — has been given. Private Grid sessions already delivered are charged pro rata; unused booked sessions are refunded if you cancel with at least seven days’ notice.

Non-refundable items

Signal Pass recordings, once the download or streaming access has been used, are not refundable, except where the files were defective and we could not replace them. Travel, hotels, and your own software licences are never refunded by the studio. Third-party examination fees, if any were ever introduced, would be listed as non-refundable at purchase; none are sold today.

How to request a refund

Write to info@catalogvectorgrid.digital with the invoice number, the programme name, and whether you are asking for a full or partial refund. You may also write to 7 Guildford Rd; East Looe; PL13 6BA; United Kingdom, or telephone 077 8517 1529. We will acknowledge within two working days.

Processing time and method

Approved refunds are sent by the original payment method within 14 working days of our written approval. We do not refund in studio credit or in a different currency than you paid, unless the payment provider requires it. Bank transfer refunds to a different account than the payer’s will not be made, to reduce fraud.

Cancellation by the studio

If illness or travel failure prevents a live studio, we first offer a recorded substitute or a new date. If you cannot take either, the affected session is refunded pro rata or the whole programme is refunded if the remaining teaching cannot be completed to the syllabus.

Exceptions

We may refuse a goodwill refund where materials were shared outside the circle in breach of the terms, where a seat was obtained by misrepresentation, or where a chargeback is already open — in which case we will wait for that process. Statutory rights for faulty or misdescribed services remain. This policy does not reduce rights you have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
